Rachel Biedenbach, M.D.
Rachel A. Biedenbach, M.D. the youngest of seven children, was born in Canton, Ohio. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Ohio Wesleyan University she went on to medical school at the Medical College of Ohio, where she graduated top ten in her class. Her internship was completed at Akron General Medical Center which was followed by her residency training at the University of Rochester Eye Institute at Strong Memorial Hospital. Dr. Biedenbach is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Biedenbach offers comprehensive ophthalmic care. She specializes in a wide array of medical and surgical ophthalmic services, including cataract surgery, pediatric exams and evaluation of glaucoma, diabetic and age-related eye disease.
On a personal note, Dr. Biedenbach is married to Dr. Reno Alessio, who is also an ophthalmologist. They have five daughters, Alaina, Vivian, Gianna, Celia and Aria, and currently reside in Medina.
